21

Items: nothing …(optional. How creative on the rules can you be?)

Round-robin aka Cheers Govener

Everyone sits in a circle.
Someone starts by saying 1, then going clockwise next person says 2.
Going around the circle until the last person says 21.
person in the 22nd position says “Cheers” or “Cheers Governor” & Everyone takes a drink.
The person in the 23rd position then makes a rule to one of the numbers.

This is where it gets juicy! They can change or do anything.

When someone screws up a number or the rule for that number, they drink and the next person starts from the beginning.

The game is over Only when every number has been changed and completed 1 round! Then Everyone wins. I wish you serious luck! You’ll need it.

Some ideas for rules.
  • 7 & 14 are swapped
  • Say a country on 11, no repeats
  • instead of 5 say ‘Skin’
  • Dance on 8
  • 11 changes directions
  • 17 happens twice (Counts as a rule for 17)
  • Stand and drink on 21
  • Say nothing on 15
  • On 13 do a little dance, every 13 from now had to do the dance and add a little bit to it

Tip; You could also do rules that don’t just apply to numbers.

  • No swearing
  • can’t touch the table
  • left hand only

This game is loose, be fun with it.

Simple 21

Items: Nothing

This game is a LOT simpler. No circle or formation needed.

It simply starts by someone yelling 1. Then anyone else can yell the next number, or the next 3 numbers. The catch, if 2 people say the same number then they both drink and start again.

When the group gets to 21 you all win!

Sounds simple? go try it, I dare you.

Black out Board (B.O.B)

Items: Paper & Pen

Start with a piece of paper. A3 usually works best, but depending on the group size you could get bigger or stick more together. Everyone then writes their names down and draws a circle around it.

Now take turns flipping a coin (or bottle cap) onto the paper if it lands on someones name they drink. If it misses drink and toss again. If you land on an empty space you can make up any rule and draw a circle around it. Now if someone lands on that rule they have to  do it.

If the flip touching someones name and a rule or +50% white space, the person drinks and play the rule or write a rule down.

Game is finished when the board is finished.

Rule ideas
  • Never have I ever (3 fingers)
  • Tell a truth
  • Finish your drink
  • Do a party trick
  • Slap the person to your left
  • -1 Item of clothing
  • Would you rather
  • Any classic kings rules work. Try to be creative make something up of the spot. Give it a crazy name.
    • Gin fingers: Slam your hand on the table, whoever has a finger pointing at them does a shot of gin
    • Vodka or Water: Poor a shot of water & vodka. choose someone to select a shot they do and you do the other one
  • Rules that DON’T work
    • No Swearing
    • Little green man
    • Buffalo (Left hand)
      • For who? everyone? person that lands on it? what happens if they land on it again?
      • Solution 1: Only for the last person who lands on it.
Solution 2: write a list of rules and everytime someone lands on it. a new one gets added. No swearing, No pointing, No saying names, No touching skin. 4-5 should do. If someone lands on it a 6th, reset?
Some board examples & Tips

Tips:

No paper? Try using a spare map of where you are. Helps you remember the game. Or sticking together some A4 sheets.

Creative? Use some coloured sharpies, draw shapes, go crazy!

Horse Races

Items: Deck of cards

Everyone bets any number of drinks on a horse (suite/ace). Cards are then flipped and the ace moves towards the finish line. First ace to pass, Wins! Winners can give out their drinks, losers take theirs.

1.

Arrange the cards with 4 aces face up at the bottom. and then 5 random facedown cards along the side. (More then 5 can be added if you wish the game to go for longer)

2.

Then start flipping over cards from the deck. For whatever suite it is, move the respective ace foreward 1 position.

3.

When all cards have reached passed a level, that card is then flipped. Whatever suite that card is that suite moves back 1 position.

Commentator: The player flipping the cards must commentate to the rest of the group the where abouts and movementsof the cards throughout the game.

Name the Horses: The group must come up with names for the horses. i.e. Penis, Dylans mum, Long john johnson… seriously anything, be creative.

Everyone get on it: Since when is there ever a quiet horse race? Cheer, scream, yell at those horses… the commentator doesn’t have to flip the next card.

Hey Jack

Items: Deck of cards

Everyone sits in a circle, cards are shuffled. Pick someone to start of as Dominator. They then take half the deck.

The dominator starts flipping cards over. If the card has a rule (see below) the group must all do it. The dominator then can select whoever and give them upto 3 drinks. If the dominator misses a card they drink.

i.e. Dominator: Tom, you were last take 2 drinks. Rhys I don’t like the way you’re doing it, you take a drink too.

If anyone that receives drinks disagrees, they can call ‘False’. Everyone must then say False if they agree with the accuse or True if they agree with the dominator. If everyone says False the dominator must drink. If one person says True everyone that has said False drinks.

Rules:
Jack: Hand in the air, say ‘Hey Jack!’,
Queen: Do something sensual (i.e rub body, squeeze parts) ,
King: Hands on head make a crown,
Ace: Right hand on table.

After the Dominator has gone through half the deck they can make a rule! Doesn’t have to be to a card. Could be as simple as No Swearing.

Rule ideas
  • 8 is forehead on table
  • 6 is kiss the persons cheek to your left
  • 3 knee to forehead
  • 5 is gecko. lay flat on the floor
  • No swearing
  • Can’t say theword’drink’

Flunky Ball

Items: A ball (bottle, rock, pine-cone) & Pillar(plastic bottle, block of wood, something that stands and won’t break).

2 teams stand approximately 6m apart (can be further for more difficulty). Between the teams they stand the pillar.
Each team alternatively takes a turn at throwing the ball at the pillar. If one team knocks it down that team starts drinking. While the other team runs on and puts the pillar back up and gets the ball. Once the cross back over they yell ‘Stop!’, then the other team stops drinking.
Once aplayer finishes their drink they’re finished and are out of the game. First team with all team players finished wins!

Back 2 Back

Items: nothing

Choose 2 people stand back to back. the group then all randomly ask questions to the 2 players. i.e. Who’s more likely to throw up, who is the better soccer player, who’s better at sex, who’s most likely to pickup someone tonight.

If either player believes that the answer to the question is them, then they drink. If both players drink (meaning they both think it’s them) or they both don’t drink (They don’t think it’s them) then they have to drink again. If only one of them drink then the group (Who’s asking questions) drinks.

Fun, simple easy. Rotate when you’ve had enough of playing around with the 2, or set a 1 minute timer. Remember when asking questions, think of stuff that they’re both going to disagree with.
